BRUNCH BEFORE GIANTS VS SAINTS GAME

Will be in New Orleans first time in October for a Giants Saints game. Looking for a good sunday brunch near the stadium preferably with music.

Luke is great pregame atmosphere. Great New Orleans music and awesome food and locally brewed beers. Not a far walk to the dome. And you can make a reservation!

Agree totally with Luke, right across the street from the Intercontinental. Went there before the Detroit game. Breakfast with 2 drinks each for two, about $70-75 as I recall.

Be sure to check out the brunch at LePavilion Hotel at the corner of Poydras and Baronne. It is approximately 3 blocks from the Dome. Good brunch and NO music.

I heard they have a great buffet at Rick's Sporting Saloon on Bourbon. All you Giants fans should definitely check that out.

The brunch closest to the stadium, that I know of, is the Veranda Restaurant in the Intercontinental Hotel on St. Charles and Poydras. It is a jazz brunch, but it's buffet style not al a carte . We went in '06 when not a lot was open yet, and it was just fine. For a bunch of guys going a game it might be just the ticket.
