Brunch Help, Somewhere between Portland and Boston
We'll be driving from Portland to Boston on a Sunday AM to spend the evening.
Would like to stop along the way to get breakfast. Prefer not to stray too far from the freeway (ie Portsmouth instead of Dover). Maybe somewhere in Kennebunk, Wells, Kittery, Portsmouth, Hampton? Looks like Friendly Toast and Golden Egg are popular in Portsmouth, but probably a longer wait than I would like. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help!
Have some of our dinners for the trip set. Not too much time to dine out in Portland. But we WILL be going to the A-1 diner in (Gardiner), one of my favorite diner stops, and Caiola's in Portland. Also hope to check out Navar Res--seems like a new pub in the Old Port?
In Boston we will have dinner at Saraceno Ristorante (on a recommendation) with dessert at Mikes. Then Lunch either at Durgin Park or Legal Seafoods.
Still no luck with brunch on our drive to Boston. Any suggestions?

We ended up at the Golden Egg in Portsmouth and LOVED it. We didn't have to wait at all (sat at the counter). There was always a short line, but no one seemed to wait longer than 10 minutes. Food was fresh, original and tasty. Highly recommend.
