Restaurant in Oakland

I am coming to Oakland for a meeting and staying at the Marriott on Broadway. What suggestions are there for a nice dinner (moderate price) for one? Would like something interesting and local, cuisine not important.

    B a couple of blocks away, the food's great, and it's a comfortable place to eat at the bar.

    If you like beer, don't miss Trappist around the corner.

      I second B. I love this place. Service and food are very good. And the truffle French Fries, to die for.
