Hickory Chips: Where to Get Them?

mrgreenbeenz Aug 28, 2009 03:31 PM

I've got a jerk pork loin that I wanted to smoke on the bbq tonight. Any idea where I can pick up a bag if hickory chips? Ideally somewhere between Hollywood and Downtown.

99 Cents Only stores have them. Or at least the one I usually go to in Highland Park usually have them. I purchased several bags there a few weeks ago.

I bought several bags at both Torrance and Redondo Beach stores for 99 cents each. They have both mesquite and hickory. Can't beat the price.

Plus tax. Plastic grocery bag not included. That's 3 cents more.

Virgil's Hardware Store in Glendale, World Market occasionally carries them as well. Can't go wrong with BBQ Galore. They will definitely have them.

BBQs Galore has them but I don't know if there is one that meets your geographical requirements.
