Lai Wah Heen - ok for someone that doesn't eat lobster, crab, pork and beef?

TOchowgal Aug 28, 2009 10:53 AM

I am thinking of doing dim sum lunch sometime in September.

Just wondering if this is a good place for someone who doesn't eat lobster, crab, pork and beef BUT eats fish, veggies, chicken, lamb.

Thanks!

For dim sum, maybe not. They'd be eating har gow, turnip cake, chicken feet, and peashoots...! You'd probably be best off calling and asking them though. However, most dimsum will contain pork of some sort. If she's also not okay with shirmp, then I'd write off dimsum entirely. Ordering single dishes would be "safer"
