hot, trendy restaurant with private room for 40
I'm looking for a hot, trendy, up-and-coming restaurant anywhere in Manhattan with a private room that holds 40 people. Price is not an issue.

Eleven Madison Park has two rooms for 18 and 32; they can be combined for 50. You can't get trendier than EMP.

You can't? You mean, just because they just got their 4th NYT star, or for some other reason? I ask because it doesn't seem to define "trendy" in a social sense to me. That word tends to make me think of places in the Meat-Packing District that attract lots of young women in high heels and scanty outfits or places that recently opened and are very popular, especially with the younger set.

There's a private back room at the recently opened and SUPER hot spot DBGB. I think the ones above are a little past their prime.
Good luck!
