Best Salads in Toms River/Howell/Jackson, Manchester area

I have a friend who is on a salad diet.....she mostly goes to Salad Works every day which isn't too bad........but are any good alternatives with some really good interesting salad choices in the area....I thought of some of the Salad Bars like Ruby Tuesdays, etc, etc, ....any help appreciated. Good vegetarian places are a plus too.

Tapas52 cannot think of any 'vegetarian' places in those areas.
Can anyone else?

A thought, Bistro 44 in Toms River does have some wonderful salad and veggie options on the menu.

Has many good vegetarian dishes and could be a good option.....not too far away ...
Bistro 44 is Excellent but too expensive for an everyday diet.

Tapas - Being that I primarily eat salads for lunch, I profess to be somewhat of an authority on the subject. :) Here are my top choices in the Toms River area: 1) Bistro 44 - Chef Salad; 2) The River Market - tie between the chicken cobb and the river market salad with grilled shrimp; 3) Crystal Diner - Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken; and 4) Tiffany's - Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. I hope this provides some food for thought.

Up here, those Saladworks Salads are about 10.50 a person with a drink..no joke.

Tapas Sentosa is good for vegetarian chinese options. Have not been there for awhile but do remember the restaurant is small, and the owner gracious.
