Just thought I'd mention that New Mexico Hatch chiles are on sale today - Wednesday-only produce specials - at the local Ranch Markets for 2 lbs for 99 cents (BTW, some other bargains are 5 avocados/$1.00 and 3 lbs tomatillos/$1.00)

      Thanks for the heads up!

      I paid .99/lb at one of the chain groceries.
      Oh well, those are all roasted and eaten.
      Time to re-fill!

        1. Also the Food City chain has them on special now. I saw the ad in the flyer the other day but don't remember the price, but it's likely to be very reasonable. Time to stock up.

              Sunflower has them as well... 99 cents/lb raw. $1.99 for roasted. Slightly more but I was already in the store so bought a batch. They had both mild and hot. I'll probably hit Ranch of FC for another round before next weekend.
