L2O summer menu
Anyone been since Gras debuted the new Summer menu? Looks to have quite a few changes from the Spring, which is excellent - and his blog is so damned enticing.
I've read mixed reviews on tasting vs. prix fixe and we'll probably go with the tasting, but for those who've been - are the dishes on the tasting smaller representations of the items on the fixe? IE, is the "TUNA" listed on the tasting the "Tuna, Tomato, Hibiscus, Foie Gras Snow" listed on the fixe?
Thanks - only 2 weeks, can't wait.

I have not been since early spring. Yes the blog is amazing, especially when the restaurant was under concept and everyone (or maybe just me) was waiting in eager anticipation.
I have had the tasting, the kaiseki, and the prix fixe. My only opinion on the prix fixe is that somehow the flow of the courses isn't quite right. Almost as if because there is an element of flexibility since you choose the 4 courses, the kitchen somehow has missteps. Now, i only had the prix fixe once on my 2nd visit. So perhaps they are better now.
That said, the tasting is great. The kaiseki is fantastic, but definitely for a milestone occasion. Some dishes on the tasting and prix fixe are the same ones. In the tasting, the portions are about 2/3 of the size of the prix fixe version.
