Sushi on the East Side or Valley

Have a friend from out-of-town who wants a LA sushi experience. I know a lot of good sushi places bu they're not big on "atmosphere." Any suggestions for decent sushi in a pretty place on my side of town (don't want to travel to the west side). Friend is really not much of a foodie, but I want the fish to be fresh and good tasting. Budget is about $100 for two.

Is that sushi place on Hillhurst any good? (Think name is En Sushi).
