They may be out of season now. I know that I've been getting some great mamey sapotes here lately though. It says here you may be able to get some larger varieties now, but I have only seen the small, cue ball sized ones. http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/morton/black_sapote.html -snip- Most black sapotes in Florida ripen in December, January or February.
