Bar Breton: Dinner?
I just returned from dinner and it was lovely. From the fresh bread basket to my cheeseburger, everything was delicious! I especially LOVED the lemon crepe cake for dessert. I know, I know...I should have ordered a galette! Next time for sure!

I did week day lunch there a few weeks ago and it was very good--eager to try it for dinner next. We also had the smoked salmon galette (could have eaten 2 more at least) and a great fish prep (not recalling what it was exactly). I liked the Vacation cocktail too (sweet and decadent).
We've had dinner (and lunch) at Bar Breton several times. Last time, dinner in May. I presume you've had some of the galettes? My favorite is the smoked salmon. The endive and orange salad is excellent. The galette stuffed with braised lamb shank is delicious, and though I haven't had the current preparation of duck, Chef Renaud's duck dishes are always first-rate. I've also had wonderful fish but not the ones on this menu. All the desserts are fine.

ETA: I take back my comment about fish. I just rmembered I had a cod dish with parsnips and pearl onions. Yum!
