Saturday Group, around Flatiron?

Hi! Trying to plan a dinner for 10 people this saturday. 5 are from far away (Norway & Belgium), and I'd like to take them someplace with good food and a fun atmosphere, so that they have a good experience. A lot of us are students, so not too expensive would be preferable - say around $40 per person (including sharing some wine), and a BYO would be great. We're all in our mid/late 20's. Also, we have a party to go to afterwards in the flatiron district, so not too far from there would be ideal.

i don't know if you will get out of stuzzichini for $40 a head with food, drinks, tax & tip. Sala 19 might be a good choice for you. it is in chelsea but il bastardo might be a good option as well. an easy walk to flatiron.

first thoughts are Havana Central in Union Square or Bar Stuzzichini in Flatiron. neither is BYOB, but the prices are moderate, and either one would be fun for your group.
