Tips for Dining, Eating and Food Shopping in Las Vegas

Restaurants at Wynn or Encore

Hi - I am looking for restaurants recommendations for either the Wynn or Encore in Las Vegas. We have a group of about 11 for dinner. Thanks!

    1. It depends on what you want, I guess. We've never had a meal we didn't like at Wyncore . . . we've been to Red 8, Stratta, Daniel Boloud, Sinatra, Tableau, Bartolotta, and Wing Lei. I'd like to try Alex next, but I'd love to go back to any of these, depending on what I was in the mood for.

Add Botero to the list - one of the best steak places in a town filled with great steak places.

I've got a soft spot for Bouloud. Charcuterie and frites. Quail terrine, or was it partridge? ("Everton, over to you!") Regardless, best use of coarse sea salt EVAR!

              Alex was pretty great, too.

LOVED DB Brasserie. The best meal that I've ever had in my life! Perfectly cooked and executed French bistro food. I went for the Taste of Wynn menu...and was in for a wonderful experience! Best pate and homemade pickles! Perfectly seasoned chicken with accoutrements. The cafloutis dessert was rich and light at the same time and served with some wonderful fruit. Still thinking about how awesome it was!

                2. You can't miss at Society inside Encore. Much more than a cafe, this is a serious restaurant with very inventive comfort food fare. The menu changes often, but on a given day one might find pigs in the blanket; a delicious, savory pot pie; above-average potstickers; superior meatballs; and large and warm, freshly baked salted pretzels.
