Wilmington Riverfront Market
Can anyone tell me about this place? How are the stands? Is it a good lunch spot, good value? I'm curious...
Thanks!!

It is pretty decent as a place to get a workday lunch, although not anything even remotely resembling Reading Terminal Market. There are several sandwich-y type places offering pretty similar stuff, a new outpost of Harry's Seafood that does seafood-based lunches (I had the shrimp sandwich and was very pleased with it), a sushi place, a coffee place, a produce stand, etc. It's very popular with the local office building crowd and gets pretty busy at lunch on weekdays. There are no real "specialty food" stalls though--don't set your expectations too high.

I go there when I can and Harry's is a great addition. It is relatively tiny and some vendors have come and gone. It is a shame because it has such great potential. When all those apartments start to fill up the market will really come into its own provided it isn't mismanaged into the ground. I really miss Old City Coffee there.
