Restaurant serving Arbois (vin jaune) in Paris?

I studied in eastern France in college, and have great memories of le vin jaune, yellow wine, called Arbois. Here in the states its 75 a bottle, but there its about 20! ANyway, I am wondering if there are any restaurants that you know of that serve this wine? Its hard to find on wine lists...

    You will be able to buy a good bottle at a reasonable price at La Derniere Goute (wine store) in the 6th arron.

      Good recommendation, one of their producers is from the Jura and does a good vin Jaune. I was lucky enough to go to a tasting when he was there and enjoyed his wines. I can't recall many restaurants having it on their lists but larger ones may do. Your best bet in a restaurant maybe one specialising in Burgundian food, as I don't believe you will find one that specialises in the Jura.

      As l recall 'Le Cinq' has it, but liquor store Lavinia has a few as does the wine store in Galeries Lafayette. Think 20 is a dream price though. The normal savagnin sells for about 20 Euros now, thus remember the Vin Jaune or even Chateau-Chalon to start around 55 euros, memory could be off though.

        Restaurant Chez Maitre Paul has about 4 different vins jaunes from about €80. I am pretty sure they have a Googleable website.

          There are some Franche-Comté specialty restaurants in Paris -- Chez Maitre Paul is one (the meal I had there last spring was, I'm sorry to say, crappy) and there is one just by the Opéra Comique, very simple and nice.

          If you have it at La Dernière goutte, you can also drink it at Fish. Does anyone knows whether Willi's has it? Les Papilles? Racines? That's where I would look first.

          It's easier in fine dining, as Le Vin Jaune is part of French heritage -- but it's expensive to start with and is better when it's 20+ y old. So it's not cheap then. Apart from le Cinq and Le Bristol, Taillevent and Rostang are also strong on it. Senderens as well.
