Deep Fried Shrimp Heads

Saw a TV show on the food network and would like to try them!
Any ideas? Would prefer Monmouth or Ocean Counties - but willing to travel if need be.

I loooove fried shrimp heads! Some sushi restaurants serve this. I had some at Sogo a little while back.

Or you can just buy some head-on shrimp and fry yourself! ;)

It sounds like it's salt and pepper shrimp from what Marlboro Man is describing. You can eat the entire head. You can get it at Chinese restaurants. Westlake or Crown Palace Restaurant. You order the entire shrimp and the head comes with it!

I had 'em at Wasabi House in Matawan as an accompaniment to Botan Ebi (large raw shrimp). Excellent!

Also, some Chinese buffets offer whole fried shrimp (not deep fried.. but they're crispy). My wife always gets grossed out by the eyes and makes me turn the heads around so they're not staring at her. :)
