I am hosting a small business dinner in Wilmington, DE for about 5-6 people. Are there any moderately priced restaurants that have a small private room, since we will be talking business? I would prefer the entrees to be in the $20 (or under) range, plus easy parking. Any cuisine would be fine. Thanks.

Doubtful that the requirements "entrees under $20" and "private room" will be met by any restaurant. There are plenty of places that can do one or the other, but I'd be very surprised if you found both.

If I were you I'd cough up some cash and go to the Green Room at the Hotel DuPont (which has tables spaced quite far apart and a quiet atmosphere), perhaps Krazy Kat in Montchanin (entrees in the $25-30 range), or something like that. I have business meals all the time in the Green Room and have never felt like anyone was close enough to listen to what we were saying.

Paying less than $20/entree will get you an atmosphere that is not conducive to a business meal.

Domaine Hudson might have a few things in that $ neighborhood. They do have a nice private room.

With the exception of the vegetable risotto, DH's entrees start at $23 unless you go for the small portions (http://www.domainehudson.com/menu.html). I doubt the restaurant would be too thrilled to give their private room (which seats 12) to a table of 5-6 people, all of whom plan to order less than $30 worth of food per head--unless it was a very slow night. To me, any request for a private room implies that you're going to make it worthwhile for the restaurant from a revenue perspective, and the OP's price range does not do that.

I love DH (will be there this weekend, in fact), but I would not abuse their hospitality by making such a request. I did not suggest them as an option because the main dining room is too noisy for a business dinner.

Your best bet might be a hotel restaurant. Not the best food, but they cater to your budget and need for privacy.
