Bomba rice

Bomba rice is scarce around these parts. I've found an outfit in Pleasanton that carries it. Anyone know of anywhere else around the Bay where it can be found?

Saw it in Williams-Sonoma at Stonestown Mall yesterday.

I believe I also have seen it at Sur La Table

The Rock of Gibraltar shop (associated with and next to Iberia restaurant) on Alma in Menlo Park carries it.

I just picked up a bag of Bomba rice at the Pasta Shop in Rockridge. But they were a bit pricey. I think it was either $11 or $18, I can't recall, but I remember it seemed high. But I was desperate because I had my heart set on paella that night. I think Spanish Table might have a better price.

Their prices are a little bit better ... 11.49$ for a kilo of Matiz, 8.99$ for a kilo of Perdiz.

Definitely go to Spanish Table for it. I assume you are making paella. They have lots of other ingredients you might want like ñoras, Spanish chorizo, and some really great Spanish wines. Also, the staff is very well informed and full of great suggestions.

The Spanish Table in Berkeley carries Perdiz and Matiz brand Bomba rice. They come in 1 kilo bags, but they also sometimes have the 5 kilo bags.
