Humongous Day Boat Scallops at Tokyo Fish Market!

I bought some great scallops this morning from Tokyo Fish Market. They were Humongous!
6 of them were a pound and a quarter. That's over $30 worth of scallops....... $29.99? a lb IIRC
Cooked them up for dinner - excellent flavor and texture. A splurge ..... but it was a special occasion and it was worth it.
In the pictures I've attached - the seared scallops are on a ten inch plate.

Ummmm ... if there are any left today, I think I'll make those for dinner tonight. They look fantastic!

Wow those are giant and they look excellent. The price is a little shocking but I imagine they were very fresh.
