Is the ARTISANAL premium cheesecake really that great?

I've heard a lot of good things about it and am considering ordering it for a home-warming thingy I'm having.

For those of you in the know, is it simply a nice, satisfying cheesecake or something truly unique taste-wise?

Thanks

(P.S. If you're familiar with delivery jems around the UWS feel free to contribute to my quest in my other sinking thread :D)

I'd say it's pretty damn good and probably the only cheesecake I can actually remember loving. However, if you're trying to save some cash, I'd go with a ricotta cheesecake from an Italian bakery.

I like the Artisanal cheesecake. But I prefer S&S. If you want to stick with the UWS, S&S are usually available through Zabar's. Good luck with your party!

Had some for dessert after a foie gras, champagne and cheese tasting at the Artisanal Education Center. Although I'm a New Yawk cheesecake purist, Artisanal's was damn good.
