Brooklyn has a long list, for my money do Dressler. Great food and ambiance. Not sure if they still do it but friday nights they had a pretty cool burlesque show after dinner.
Pretty fancy would be Water's Edge in LIC and River Cafe in DUMBO. Both are great locations (romantic water views) with probably good food. Across from River Cafe is the Barge Music. I think either is sweet and would make for a lovely date.
