Food challenges in the GTA? (Man v. Food)

So I've been watching a lot of Man Vs Food on the travel channel and was wondering what challenges are local to Toronto.

I only know of typical ones like the 72oz steak at Lonestar's, and the wall at Duff's. Can anyone name any other interesting local challenges?

I'm always willing to try the spiciest dishes available. Not really into gluttony challenges, but let's hear em all!

When I lived in Waterloo (mumbles) years ago there was a place called King Kong Subs right near the University Campus on Phillip Street that had a a "3 foot" submarine they would time you and if you succeeded in downing the whole thing they would take your picture and post it on the wall. They moved to King Street sometime after I moved to tdot, apparently they were still there in 1999 and there are listings for the place online so it may still be there, obviously this is on the gluttony side of the fence.

Balut would be a challenge for me. It is a 16 day old embryo egg, steamed and salted. Ask any Filipino, and you may find a source.

Fertile eggs are available from breeders, Like this one close to 401 at Port Hope. http://www.profilecanada.com/companyd...

It would be easy to raise the embryos; many school classes hatch a few chicks every spring.

I have been watching this show lately and found this old thread. Am wondering if there are any food challenges in T.O. where you get a shirt or photo on the wall, etc..

At Wonderland you get a t-shirt when you buy the 1 pound Behemoth burger. Not really a challenge but it's a big burger and a t-shirt.
