Visiting Monterey Peninsula soon and need a hard to find combination

My wife is a vegetarian (doesn't eat anything that had eyes) and I love seafood. Seafood restaurants rarely have any vegetarian entree's. Making a meal out of side dishes and maybe a salad is not real appealing to her. Oh, before someone suggests it she hates portobello mushrooms. We prefer more casual places, but we are willing to consider anything. Any suggestions?

  1. You can call and verify, but I believe there is always at least one vegetarian entree on the menu at Passionfsh (which is also great for seafood). Desserts are very good there too, particularly the peach cobbler in season.

My daughter is a veggie as well - and loves Passionfish. They always have at least one Veggie entree - and will also make up something else if she wants to create something different...

I'll third this. I'm a vegetarian and my partner is very much not, and we've always had great meals together at Passionfish. (I hate portobello mushrooms too!) If she's OK with a good pasta meal, there is also The Fishwife.
