Mtn View sightings: bulgogi truck, Scream Sorbet

snewdl Aug 24, 2009 09:51 AM

A question and a tip:

Q: I was driving near downtown Mountain View friday night and found myself behind what appeared to be a taco truck, except it had BULGOGI painted across the back. Exciting! The truck turned down a side street and disappeared into the night. I searched this board and the web for more info, but found nothing. Anybody know about this?

Hot Tip: Scream Sorbet has started showing up at the MV sunday farmer's market, and their sorbet is really amazing: amazingly creamy, with novel flavors. The selection differs every week; last week I tried the fig sorbet, and this weekend they offered concord grape, kettle corn (!), and a wonderful vanilla-almond.

My brother forwards the url for the Bulgogi BBQ truck,
It's been at Stanford too, but he hasn't tried the food.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be looking for Scream Sorbet at the market. No clue on the Bulgogi truck though.

I think the vanilla-almond is the best flavor I've tried so far (See photo). It is very expensive, but worth it.

At the Sunnyvale Farmer's market, one scoop is $3, two scoops is $5, and a six scoop take-home container is $10. Each scoop is very small. If you get the six scoop take-home container, they provide you with some kind of frozen ice brick that prevents it from melting on your way home.
