Going to the Ex tomorrow---is there ANYTHING food wise you would reccomend?

I was there yesterday day and we had:

- Corn dogs (not pogos)
- Waffle ice cream sandwich
- Doubles for Ali's in the food building
- Tiny Tim donuts

All "great" fair food! :-)

I ALWAYS crave the corn dogs every year but i'm always dissapointed! somehow i think the memory is better than the reality. The fresh waffle ice cream sandwiches and fresh fried tiny tom donuts are still killer though

A lot of stands offer pogos, the hand dipped corn dogs rock so seek it out. I have not been yet this year but it was in the food building last year!

The corndog stand in the midway/gaming alley, near the Princes Gates. I can't remember what it's called but it's a yellow kiosk offering corndogs and lemonade. There's actually a giant corndog pointing skywards on top of the stand. Seriously! :) I had one on Friday and wow was it ever good.

that's the one i always get!!!
they use an industrial grade mixing wand (i think it's used to mix concrete) to do up the batter. That's the one i always think "oh i have to have that" and then when i do it's always just okay. It's frustrating! yeargh.... like chasing a ghost

If there's a juice place this year that has various concoctions with vitamins, ginseng, etc., added to them, I highly recommend. I was exhausted, with pain in the backs of my knees from too much walking — had one of their drinks and within about 10 minutes got an amazing second wind and the knee pain was gone. It might have been Juice for Life...I'm terrible with remembering names.
