Need Rockland County recommendations

I am looking to buy my parents a gift certificate for a Rockland County restaurant.

Any recommendations in the mid-level price range (in between your super casual places and your Peter Kelly places)? I know my request isn't super specific, but I'm open to anything that's impressed you. I don't live in the county, so I need a bit of help.

Thanks in advance!

Good list, although it encompasses a wide swath of quality. Ravi's Continental Cuisine in Suffern would be a good bet if you're looking for something at the western side of the county; also Turkois or Citrus Grille in Airmont. Also, if they're interested in Indian, I'd strongly recommend Karavalli in Nanuet over Spice, which is pretty but otherwise not too impressive.

JessNY, any preferences re ethnic foods, etc?

Anyone considering the Citrus Grille should go there sooner than later....
