trying to remember name of indian restaurant in vancouver

This may be a long shot -- but I stayed at the Cassandra Hotel a couple years ago while visiting Vancouver and remembered a pretty good Indian place that was within walking distance of the hotel. Would anyone have any idea what the name of this place might be?

Was it Chili Pepper House, that does Chinese food Indian style? It's at 3003 Kingsway at Rupert, about a block west of the hotel.

Or Jambo Grill & Good Morning Paan (3219 Kingsway) about a block east of the hotel.

The Indian place in the lobby is long gone.
