Where to watch the Saints game tonight with out of town guests?
Looking for a fun place to watch the game with good food and drinks, but not going to break the wallet? Any ideas?

My number 1 choice would be Cooter Browns. Great "bar" food and a fun atmosphere.

thanks, that is one I had in mind. Might be the winner

my husband and I have the same problem whenever there's an away game...lack of sports bars in new orleans. cooter's is probably the most fun, brunos or friar tucks if you're college age...gordon biersch isn't bad, even though it's a chain and not truly 'new orleans', if you want to bring your friends to a local place

For future reference: I have always, and will always, recommend Finn McCool's in MId-City. It's as fun as can be for Saints games with loads of free food (yes, free) and their drink prices are all reasonable. They have a bunch of HD TVs and a couple projection screens as well for Saints games. Keep it in mind.
