Birthday dinner in Kuala Lumpur recomendations
My partner's birthday falls on our second day in Kuala Lumpur next October....Any suggestions for an amazing birthday dinner? I am a ´professional food writer and we are interested in authentic food, not necessarily fancy.

A couple of places which come to mind if I were celebrating a special occasion in KL:
1) Tamarind Springs

For authentic food and I you like seafood, then maybe Meng Kee Fatt in Ampang. Good seafood especially the crabs. Its a BYO, so you can have a great meal with your own wine.
Sage is good but its more a fusion kinda of place. Not authentic in the true sense of the word but a very nice option.
