moderately-priced dinner in downtown columbus

we'll be in columbus for a wedding over the weekend and need a place for a group of 8-10 to have an early dinner. we'll have adults and kids, so something that's family-friendly and affordable would be great. somewhere between the hyatt regency and the college of art and design, since we'll be walking from the hotel to the wedding.

we're adventurous as far as food types, but need something with some good vegetarian options. asian, italian, fusion, etc are all good.

we've found a few options that look promising:

due amici (http://www.due-amici.com/index.html) looks nice, but maybe a bit pricey
el arepazo (http://www.elarepazolatingrill.com/me...) menu looks great, but a sit-down place would probably work better

any other suggestions? thanks in advance.

Bottom line is that you're going to have a hard time finding an affordable place (without it being Wendy's) between those two points. If you went north or south of those two places you would be much better off. There are some places over by the Arena, but I'm not a huge fan of Gordon Biersch or Buca di Beppo. The perfect place for you is 12 blocks south of the Convention Center at Northstar Cafe: inexpensive, kid friendly, good vegetarian options.
