West LA/Santa Monica dinner
Looking for dinner place in Venice, Santa Monica or Westwood for six adults. Love places like Nook and Rustic Canyon but would like to be a price point or two below that. Ethnic or American or whatever.

what about persian? if so, look into shamshiri, javan and darya.

second the shamshiri grill recommendation.
two of us had dinner at nook last week with no alcohol, and it ran about $65 all in.
two people at shamshiri grill for dinner will run about $45 all in, including non-alcoholic beverages.

May want to try culver city - lots of lower priced places due to the fact it's not in tourist central, like Santa Monica & Venice.
Le Saint Amour in Culver city seems to be decent, according to other 'hounders, and not super pricey.

fwiw, it looks to me like the prices at le saint amour are about the same as those at nook.
