Fun place to dine for 5 eligible ladies - 35-45

hi everyone,
I have some friends coming into town in a few weeks and am looking for a fun place to eat that is not too expensive. Thoughts? Open to suggestions.

you could try 'inoteca on lex and 24th. lots of small italian plates to share, and it has a bustling bar off to the side as well. or you could try Otto for pizzas, pastas, and lots of wine. it is also a busy, lively place.Or maybe stanton social on the LES?

Go to the Rooftop of the Empire hotel, the food is run by China Grill, and the scene is amazing, especially if they come in before the weather turns....
West Side too family oriented, go down to Alphabet City, or maybe Baoronda on east side, weds nights they have music dancing on tables....

Are you looking for a pickup bar type of scene? Because that's what "eligible" implies. Maybe Calle Ocho?

T-Bar on the UES always has a bunch of Cougars there and the young guys know it. Fodd is excellent as well. Very reasonably priced.

Well, I guess preferably west side....we are open to cuisines....don't want to pay prices like Daniel or Jean Georges.....18 -25 per entree? I was thinking Mermaid Inn on the UWS... but was looing for some more ideas....
