        <content>Is there even such a thing?  I'm supposed to bring food for a nice brunch get-together, but it has to be semi high end finger food.  Ideas or suggestions?

By the way, this is a standing room only party.  Everything needs to be eaten standing up.</content>

french toast made with challah, cut into fat sticks, with a pure maple syrup &amp; orange dipping sauce

cherry tomatoes hollowed out and stuffed with crab or shrimp Louis

mini Greek quiches -- use phyllo cups, add feta and onions, maybe some crumbled cooked merguez (lamb sausage), use basil and grated lemon peel in the egg filling

      <content>Anything with smoked salmon is great for a brunch....maybe fanci-fied deviled eggs with smoked salmon or caviar? Giada has a pretty good proscuitto wrapped breadstick recipe, too, that I've had not long ago. These ideas might be too pedestrian, not sure.</content>

      <content>mini-biscuits made with white cheddar, fresh corn, and diced ham and cut to about 1 1/4" size with a scalloped cutter. serve with whipped chipotle sweet butter .

deviled eggs made with smoked herring (Trader Joe's, in a tin) garnished with a cilantro leaf or individual chive flower. 

ditto the crepes-mini size 4"ers, rolled with homemade ginger marmalade or lemon curd, and mascarpone
