Rigoletto Has Closed (Columbus and 69th)

Passed by Rigoletto (Columbus and 69th) tonight. Looks like they've closed. The windows are covered with paper but I didn't see any farewell messages on their door. I'll bet their lease was up. I had a feeling about this building when I had noticed the recent closing of the laundromat next door. This is the same building in which Magnolia has recently opened.

my mistake, peeps. the place is opening tomorrow. i guess they were renovating. SORRY. go have a slice ASAP and celebrate.

good to know. I lived around the corner for 6 years, and while I prefer Francesco a few blocks down for a slice, its still a very solid establishment!

the renovations involved nearly tripling the size of the indoor space and adding outdoor seating. it looks great. nice to see at least one place thriving around here, especially them. boy was i wrong.

Too bad! I worked in that neighborhood and one of my favorite lunch items was the artichoke pizza with their green sauce.
