oven instead of dehydrator
the recipe calls for a dehydrator but i don't own one. i also want to speed this recipe up a bit. what oven temp can i use to mimic 115 degrees, 36-48 hours?
No way you'll be able to follow that recipe using an oven. The lowest temp my oven will maintain is 175F. But you might come close if you set the temp as low as possible and wedge the oven door open a couple of inches at the top. You won't get as much air circulation as with a dehydrator, so whatever you are drying out, go by feel rather than time.
