Kosher Mexican in Brooklyn
Has anyone heard of this new meat restaurant in Brooklyn? I overheard a conversation about it, and would like to know more info - where is it, how is it, etc.?
Thanks!

Went to C & G tonight, service was horrific, people were cutting to the front to give their orders and in between the girl behind the counter was answering her cell phone. I walked out.

If you mean Carlos & Gabby's, it's great! It's on Coney Island Avenue between Avenues J and K. They also have locations in Kew Garden Hills and Cedarhurst but I'm not sure of the addresses.
The Brooklyn location is pretty reasonably priced and the food has always been good. I like their tacos, burritos, fajitas etc. The guacamole could definitely stand improvement as far as I'm concerned. The burgers are great. I know it doesn't sound right to go to a Mexican place to get burgers, but they are just so good. I got a mushroom burger last time and it was fantastic. Also, they have a brisket sandwich I really liked.
If you want to eat cheap tacos that are extremely tasty, try Substational. They have two locations but the cleaner one is on Coney Island Avenue between O and P.
PS Love the screenname:)
