december honeymoon in Paris -- food recs needed!

hello!

i am writing from Los Angeles~ and need some recommendations for where to eat while in Paris on our honeymoon! we love food (gross understatement) and would really like our dining experience in paris to be memorable.

can you help?

we are looking for equal parts of great meals (both in terms of food and experience) + grab and go type meals (less expensive, more chill environment). since we'll be there for christmas too... if anyone has suggestions for where to eat on that day, we'd greatly appreciate it!!

also, we may take some day trips around Paris and do not have a problem centering that around a good meal if necessary. thus far, versailles is on the to-do list but nothing else.

dates: 12/23-28 (wed-mon) -- including christmas eve/day.

location: we will be staying at Le Méridien Montparnasse (19 Rue du Commandant Mouchotte) and Westin Paris (3 Rue De Castiglione) during this time... but as they say, have fork and willing to travel~!

i have done a fair amount of research on this board but honestly it is a bit of information overload. i have places like jules verne and Boyer Les Crayeres on the list, but as a first timer in paris... too many options is not a good thing.

i'm the first to acknowledge that recs are based on personal taste, so i take everything with a grain of salt -- but really what i'm looking for is to just put yourself in my shoes... and tell me where you would go!!

THANK YOU sincerely in advance!

Could you tell us more about your food taste? Fav restaurants, fav foods, expectations....

Boyer is no longer at Les Crayeres, but it is still a place of dreams. And Reims is a short TGV ride from Paris. L'Assiette Champenoise (also in Reims) also has two stars, and is easily as fabulous as Les Crayeres, albeit more modern.

Les Crayères' chef is now Didier Elena, who three/four stars at ADNY at Essex House back in the days.

We too will be in Paris during Christmas, arriving 12/19, and are interested in what recommendations locals might make for the 10th and 3rd . Especially for Christmas eve and day.

Are you guys finding that many restaurants are closed during the whole Christmas week?

          Any solutions?

Yes. Go some other time of the year or go to the ones that are open.
