TU Y Yo and Pomodoro now OPEN in Needham

Tu Y Yo opened early last week and Pomodoro is open for the first night tonight.

Tu Y Yo has some serious service issues to work in their first months but I think it will be a welcomed addition to Needham...

Pomodoro Is not, I repeat is not related to the restaurants in Boston and Brookline. Beats me why the Pomodoro in Needham chose the same name. Their management team is already off to a bad start for that curious decision.

    1. We tried To Y Yo and will not be going back. There wre six of us and everyone agreed that the food was meh or worse and the prices were high. The margaritas have club soda in them and lack any alcohol flavor. The service was good but that would not inspire us to go back.

      1. Although I have not been to Tu Y O, the reviews have not been very good. I have been to Pomodoro twice and will not be returning. The menu is very uninspired, red sauce, southern italian. Though not too expensive, I found the prices high for the quality of the food. On my 2 visits, I tried the Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan and Shrimp Scampi. The chicken parm was pretty good, but the shrimp and eggplant was very average and bland. As I noted in an earlier report, as far as food being cooked to order, the chicken parm and other entrees were served within 10 minutes of ordering despite a fairly full restaurant, hard to imagine that it was cooked to order and delivered to table that fast.
