Clam cakes in greater NYC area?

I am dying for some New England style clam cakes. These are occasionally referred to as clam fritters, and I've had something similar in Caribbean cuisine called conch fritters. I'd be happy with whatever they're named as long as they're a yummy ball of deep fried dough with chopped clams inside.

Anyone know where to get some in New York City or within an hour's drive?
