I've contributed lists on other threads with similar themes, but while digging through old LPs in the basement, I found a song called THE CHOWHOUND'S LAMENT on a Homer & Jethro album.

The album itself is kind of interesting: H&J did some commercials in the early 60s for Kellogg's Corn Flakes using a "Corn-fucious Say" theme, and the album is a tie-in with it. Not exactly PC today, but interesting nonetheless.

I also ran across an instrumental bu Rockin' Johnny Sansone called POPEYE'S & A HUBIG'S.

Brilliant, although hearing Gas Huffer, Bad Manners and Frank all in a row like that might make your head explode.

Try looking more into old blues and folk. Here's a start:
by Robert Johnson: They're Red Hot, Malted Milk, Come on in My Kitchen, Dead Shrimp Blues, Milkcow's Calf Blues
by Leadbelly (Huddie Ledbetter): Diggin My Potatoes, Green Corn, Grey Goose, and probably a whole lot more I can't think of right now
