Estia
Another good meal here. My wife and I had a late lunch on Friday, August 14th here. I had the Melizanosalata (roasted eggplant with pita) for an app and Kotopoulo Souvlaki (chicken) for a main. My wife a salad special – seasonal tomato with mozzarella (nothing fancy) and the fish of the day. It was all very tasty. She ate every bit – as did I. I will admit it is a bit more expensive that some other places – but I have NEVER been disappointed with either the food or the service here. We first ate here in January 2006. Every time my wife and I visit Philly we make a point of it to eat here. I look forward to my next visit to Estia.

i've been to estia a few times now. both have been great experiences. if you're a fan of greek food and don't live too far from the philly area, you should try to make it out to cherry hill, nj to kuzina by sofia. i feel that the meals i've had here blow estia's out of the water...and they're very wallet friendly.

It takes me about the same time for me to drive to Philly or Cherry Hill. Kuzina looks good. It's just that we drive down for a for a long weekend in Philly once or twice a year and do some restuarants, museums, shows, movies - whatever. You must be close enough to just drive to Kuzina for dinner. I sometimes wish I lived closer. I grew up Mount Ephraim, so I know the Camden County area. I'm in north Jersey now, but my wife and I have never lost our S. Jersey/Philly ties. NYC is alien to me. I like Philly.

I love Estia. I'm glad I work a couple of blocks away and can just stop by for the Estia chips, stuffed grape leaves, and other appetizers. For dinner, the swordfish kebab and moussaka are excellent.

I love Estia too. Especially at lunch when I can get the octopus, grilled fish, and baklava for $30!

Has anyone tried the steaks at Estia? My wife doesn't eat seafood or lamb, and it looks like their only entree choice other than seafood and lamb are two types of steaks on the menu. Are the steaks comparable to what one would have at the finer steakhouses?

I have never tried the steak at Estia because the seafood is great. My son has had chicken a number of times at Estia and it's very good. Nothing all that fancy but cooked perfectly and tasty.
