Amsterdam Help

I am planning a trip to Amsterdam in October and would appreciate suggestions for restaurants for dinner. De Kas is a definite. I am also thinking about Bordewijk and Blauw aan de wal. I wish I knew a bit more about the type of cuisine served at these two places. Sunday is, as expected, the biggest struggle. Anyone been to Lof? Thanks in advance.

Yes, De Kas is excellent, if also a bit overpriced.

Unfortunately, I can’t share any experiences with the other places you mentioned. However, Bordewijk has some cuisine information available on its website: http://www.bordewijk.nl/ (Click on "de kaart", then on "the menu" to see a menu in English). Blauw aan de wal is supposed to be quite nice (despite its location in the heart of the Red Light District) but I haven’t made it there yet either.

How about De Witte Uyl? They are open again after a few weeks of holiday, and the new menu is up on the website (http://www.witteuyl.com/). It may still be in effect come October. However, they are not open on Sundays…
