Going today to Governors Island, where is the best spot near by to pick up yummy picnic lunches?

    1. I think the pickings are pretty slim for picnic supplies near the ferry, but there's food available on Governor's Island if that interests you. This guide lists some options. Water Taxi Beach also has food, including a very impressive buffet of hot dog and hamburger toppings.

          Be aware that WTB is the only place on the island that serves beer and you can't take anything alcoholic to the island.
