Will be here in a few weeks, any suggestions for the Playa Mujeres or Isla Mujeres area? Thanks in advance.

Right when you get off the ferry in Isla is Mar-y-Sol which is fine for lunch and you look out and see the fishermen and pelicans. I like Bistro Francais in town. Rolandi and Casa O's are the fanciest. .

Playa Mujeres is a little off of the beaten path about 7 miles north of downtown Cancun.....There is Flamingos close to Punta Sam for seafood in the afternoon....its ok not gourmet dining. On Isla Mujeres, a ferry ride away is Casa O's, Villa Rolandi, and I have heard tell that there is some BBQ somewhere on the Island. Also you will want to go to Playa de Lancheros for some Tikinchik fish......very traditional done with a maranade of Achiote and sour orange.....very good. Look on tripadvisor.com for Restaurants on Isla Mujeres, Puerto Juarez and Cancun for restaurant ratings by travelers. If you happen to travel to Playa del Carmen go to Cocina 38.
