We are more interested in very good spots, rather than the uber luxe places, mostly because we think we may do better at these other spots food wise. And they have an outdoor terrace with beautiful views of the caldera and back onto Oia. For Mykonos, there is a casual restaurant that serves excellent fresh grilled food and salads called Kiki's Taverna. It overlooks Agios Sostis beach. It's about a 15 minute drive from Mykonos Town, is only open for lunch, and does not take reservations. Another excellent choice in Mykonos Town is Matsuhisa (yes, the same Matsuhisa Nobu that has restaurants in NY). It's not Greek food, but it is delicious sushi. It's at The Belvedere Hotel, overlooking the Mykonos Port. Enjoy your visit. I've gone to Mykonos every year for the last 3 years and absolutely love it. The dining area is interesting and pretty. The steak was fine, but no where near worth what they charge for it. I don't mind dropping a lot of money for good food, but this one is just too expensive for what they deliver.
