juicy....crispy on the outside....marinated in lime juice, garlic, cumin, etc. The hot dog/french fry side is delish.

I like the maduros (sweet plantains) while my friend likes the tostones (salty plantains) and the rice.

The chicken flavor is addictive, greasy, delicious, finger-lickin' good. I use the bones to make stock.

It's delicious. The chicken is really flavorful, though it's definitely salty (in the best possible way). I'm not crazy about the sides, I usually just focus on chicken there.

The green sauce you get with it can be put on anything from salad to meat to a dip for bread or veggies. Its awesome. Oh, the chicken is good too.

Had it once 2 years ago.. was "wow".. the seasoning is just so good. I was taliking today with a friend vacationing in Peru right now and he says chicken from there just blows Pio Pio away as well... its one my list of "fast food" places to visit again, but I just haven't done so

The chicken is juicy, and the maduros are the side we usually go with.

It's completely delicious! Juicy, tender, rich - totally comforting. We usually get the dinner combo which is such a bargin. You get beans/rice, hotdog/frieds, plantains, and avocado/tomato "salad" with the chicken. I like the avocado salad and plaintains best. And I concur with princeofpork about the green sauce - yum.

Also excellent sangria. And we also got the friend seafood platter which was HUGE and completely yummy.

I should mention there were 4 of us.
