Steak Au Poivre

juman23 Aug 14, 2009 08:13 AM

Where would I find the city's best Steak Au Poivre? I've had a craving for it for such a long time. I was thinking of going to Les Halles, but want to know other rec's. Also, not looking for anything too expensive.

Yep, Scottsdale, AZ is on the west coast. I will love to visit any place in NY on the next trip if they have a better Steak Frite than Zink's.

Does anyone do anything that looks this good? This is the best Steak Frite I have found on the entire west coast including Las Vegas.

Zink bistro, Scottsdale, AZ $28 I believe

i have a couple of friends who swear by the steak au poivre at Raoul's.

other places that have gotten the thumbs-up:
        - The Odeon
        - Le Jardin
        - Le Gigot
        - Tartine

I think l'express is the best bang for your buck. 19.99 with fries

          Marseille - 28
          Raoul's - 37

I like the one at Batlhazar but it is a little pricy at $38. But it's pretty big and they will cut it in half and serve it on two plates for an extra $2 if two of you are not so hungry. The peppery crust on the steak is delicious.

Raoul's. And first class fries with it.
