Daniela's in Acton?

Their place on Route 27 closed and I hear they're moving out to Nagog Hill. Anyone know any details? Truth or rumor? If truth, when does the new place open?

Their food wasn't stellar but it was good enough to be our local on Friday nights, and it was close to us. Julie's, the breakfast/lunch place next door to the old Daniela's is expanding and will supposedly serve dinner.

Have you tried Ichobod's on Great Road? I've heard they serve some nice middle eastern food but haven't gotten there yet.

I went once. Ichabod's is ok but I found it a bit pricey with spotty service. The people tend to be very friendly. The food is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern. They have hummus/eggplant/etc but it's very limited.

Daniela's (Acton) and Casablanca (Billerica) are the only Mexican restaurants in the area. I think there's also one in Lowell but haven't been there. Daniela's is decent but nothing special. I would think they would take over the Tobiko Fusion restaurant space at Nagog Hill.

I like Daniela's much better when it was more of a tacqueria than a full service restaurant. I used pick up food there once or twice a week, after it changed over, I only went in twice.
