Pickles

With Guss' moving out to Brooklyn, I'm wondering where others of you Manhattanites will be getting your fix without a major subway schlep. I do love Rick's in general, but not his cucumbers. And he doesn't have those addictive pickled mushrooms...

    I second The Pickle Guys on the Lower East Side. Barrel pickles, just like Gus's. I think they have mushrooms.

      They do. Also olives, okra, turnips, cauliflower, etc.

      From the Pickle Guys, as I have for years. I think they're better than Guss'.

        I LOVE the pickle plate at Ssam Bar. There's a guy @ the Union Sq. greenmarket that makes some killer kimchi, but not quite sure what his stand is called.
